          J C is one of the most in-demand corporate entertainers in Asia because of his innovative ability to customize his shows for any special event. He has also produced and staged over 50 special illusions for corporate events, including making CEOs magically appear, vanish and teleport onto stage. 

Besides performing live shows across Asia, J C has been featured on television in Singapore and Bangladesh. He was a featured highlight in the President's Star Charity Show 2004 (Live TV - Singapore) where he made a magical penetration/ appearance from a thin solid wall, caused a radio personality to vanish and reappear center stage, performed a personalized close-up illusion for the President of Singapore, levitated himself in the air and made a full-sized convertible car appear on stage.

More than a Decade of Performance Experience

          As an international performer, J C has staged almost 2000 shows across Asia Pacific as well as in France and the US. His vast experience includes performances in hotels, cruises, clubs, resorts, theatre and for over 1000 corporate events.

J C is a recipient of a 'Master of Magic' award from the International Festival of Magic (Bangladesh), winner of 2 international magic awards and was the headlining performer of 2 full evening illusion theatre productions, 'Magic at the Theatre' (2000) & 'Intimate Illusions' (2002). He is the star of the upcoming theatre show - 'J C Sum: Art of Illusion'.

Original, Innovative & Creative

          J C is also the most original prolific illusion designer and writer in the region. His wealth of experience, expansive knowledge base and sheer illusion creativity makes him the 'go-to' individual when it comes to designing magic in Asia.

He has received international critical acclaim with the release of two original books on theatrical illusion for the magic community - 'Illusionary Departures' and 'The Event Illusionist. 

He has designed over 25 original illusions and has recently begun to license the manufacture of 3 of his illusions for professional magicians worldwide.
